The University Heights Arts Association offers several programs:


A traveling booth that invites passersby to sit down and create art to take with them

A component of the ARTboothz program that brings self-serve art projects to businesses and public spaces through kiosks

UHAA! ArtFest

Annual, integrated arts festival offering free entertainment, hands-on art, indoor/outdoor exhibitions, poetry readings, and food art.

Arts programming for older adults

Catherine Parker Artists Salon

Partnership with the Salon that offers open discussions about various art forms. Lead by UHAA board member Dr. Peter Siedlecki 



Where to shop for art from neighborhood galleries and shops to online stores.

Public Art
A program that places art on the inside and outside of buildings, parks and forgotten spaces

A program that explores seeds as

way to garden, and the concept of the

seed as a way to artistically share slice

of life interpretations of personal and

community history.

Youth Arts

Arts programming for all area children, from hands-on activities to performances.

Specific Arts

Fabric Art Group

Quilters and fabric artists offer demonstrations, workshops and discussions about quilting.



Perpetual exchanges between fine artists, crafters, galleries, shops and businesses. 20 Art Exhibitions offered per year.

Writers Group

Opportunities for writers of poetry to prose.
